Company Overview:
A dynamic and growing Telecommunications company is seeking a Project Administrator for an immediate start.
CA Telecom UK Limited has been established since 2006 and has been an ever-growing business since. We currently employ almost 100 staff with further plans for expansion ahead. We are looking for a Project Administrator to join our hardworking team. The successful candidate must have a positive, friendly, helpful and can-do attitude.
Based at our Head Office in Whitstable, the Project Administrator will be required to assist with all project related administration within the Planning and Permitting department. They will be instructed and guided by the Planning department team members and their Line Manager. They will work through multiple systems, will tie up varying completion of works and will provide a competent and concise delivery to the client.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Administrator, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Client Specific Tasks:
- Drawing documentation from an online system and saving down within the relevant company folders.
- Closing out tasks on the system as ‘job complete’.
- Carrying out shift management control, setting times for a monthly period.
- Dealing with any client issues and escalating where required to relevant personnel within the team.
- Creating and sending daily whereabouts to the client each afternoon and internally to our in-house team through various WhatsApp groups.
- Updating our permit program.
- ‘Running’ stats for civils works carried out.
- Creating civils measure sheets for weekly submission to the Finance team.
- Providing permit related administrative support for concentrated periods/ holiday cover.
General In-House Tasks:
- Creating Excel based work trackers on Google Sheets, to show work output and general completion of works.
- Creating cost prediction worksheets for the Operations team.
- Preparing civils completion worksheets, to be prepared for the Commercial team.
- Detailing works and their completions: successful/ not successful.
- Other ad hoc duties where required.

CA Telecoms UK fully understand desilting is a tough challenge. In situ cables must not be damaged, hard blockages must be cleared and long distances must be cleaned. Our long awaited grab lorry has arrived!
Our new DAF grab lorry with a 8x4 tipper is capable of carrying a payload of 16 tonnes.
This is a great addition to the fleet and will be used for many projects within CA Telecom and CA Power Division.
